On the 20th of September 2014 in Shevchenko’s garden “The Scientific Fun” occurred where 21 teams from Kharkov educational institutions, scientific and educational centers took part. More than 50 expositions were presented on this event. The scientific fun were organized by polish fund «Wspólna Europa» with the support of Fund “Education for democracy”, Program “Tomorrow.ua” of Victor Pinchuk Fund and a number of local partners. The scientific fun have been held for the second year, this time in seven Ukrainian cities. Besides our city the science has already took holiday in Lviv, Ternopil, Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, Kyiv and Lutsk.
The Center of bat rehabilitation FeldmanEcopark told about its scientific work and about how Kharkiv people may accede to it. On the event the alive bats – Noctule and Kuhl’s bat, special rings for bat banding, multimedia presentation about bats as an object of scientific researches were presented and also you could listen the ultrasounds of bats by using the special bat detector in live mode or recording with headphones. All the listeners obtained informational and souvenir materials about bats with contacts of center as the presents.
The organizers of the “Scientific Fun” solemnly awarded The Center of bat rehabilitation by diploma, and participants – by certificates for conducting.
